Thin to win

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

These are the best ski socks in the thin sock category. I have the comparable Smartwool thin ski sock, and I pick these out of the drawer first every time. They are more comfortable and warmer than any thin sock I've tried. I have a couple of pairs from three years ago and they are still like new with lots of days on snow. I love the fit around the toes. The toe seam doesn't add bulk or have lumps like most socks.

Best socks.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

These are the best ski socks I've ever encountered. I used to work on skis, now I just ski... a lot. Think of everything you like about Smartwool socks, but these guys don't wear out in those key spots. I wear the ultra light because I like a good tight boot fit, and I've rarely had any warmth issues. Just buy them already!

Perfect Ski Sock

With a good fitting boot and a custom insole (trust me you need them) you should need little more than an ultralight sock for moisture transport to keep your feet comfortable and dry. These are the best ultralight sock I've found. The Smart Wool PhD is a close second and the Under Armor is the best synthetic.
