Receptor Commuter Helmet

Lots of manufacturers these days are making skate-inspired helmets for everything from snowboarding to kayaking. Most of these helmets, however, are super low-tech and stuffy. They suffer from a lack of ventilation and a one-size-fits-all construction approach. This is not the case with the POC Receptor Commuter helmet, however, which is built with al the innovation and quality that you’d expect from POC.

The outer shell is durable PC-covered ABS plastic that not only shrugs off light hits, but also earns the Receptor CSPC certification. The shell is also loaded with cooling vents to keep your head cool without compromising the shell’s structure. For closure there’s a magnetic-guided FIDLOCK buckle for simple, one-handed operation.

The Receptor’s lightweight EPS liner features an anti-static treatment to reduce helmet-hair. The liner also manages moisture, so you aren’t a stinky, sweaty mess when you get to where you’re going. The Receptor comes in three shell sizes and relies on an adjustable neck pad for a snug, comfortable fit.
