    Ready to race.

When times start to count and you're looking for some extra speed and warmth, pull on the POC Raceday Sleeves. Not only does the stretchy, breathable fabric have a slim, ergonomic fit with a top silicone gripper, but the front of the sleeve is dimpled, which reduces drag (it uses the same principles as a golf balls) and buys you seconds that might be vital. The Racedays also offer UPF 50+ sun protection to keep your arms from burning under the sun, and has a reflective logo that helps ensure you'll get home safely after a long twilight training ride.

    Runs way too large

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Small and Medium

I have been looking for a pair of arm warmers in navy or blue to replace a pair that I lost (Capo Riserva purchased from Competitive Cyclist), and it's been exceedingly hard to find such items. At the time of the review (Nov 2015), this is the only item I could find in either size S or M, and I must say that I'm quite disappointed in both. I normally wear medium or small depending on the brand.

The medium was comically large, and it is doubtful there could be any warmth provided given the diameter of the opening at the top is more than an inch more than the diameter of my upper arm. No worries, i thought, i'll go with the size small.

However, even the size small was still large, though it fit better than the medium. There was a lot of clumping of materials around my elbow, and it's doubtful that the warmers could be provide any drag reduction given that whatever advantages provided by the dimpled surface is surely offset by the many creases.

The material seems otherwise fine, but I'd really have preferred something much simpler in design (i.e. no dimpled fabrics) but would actually fit. The Capo Riserva was not only stylish but also functional. It has been awfully difficult to find something that would measure up to the quality and style of the Capo armers.
