    Trail abuse.

POC cut its teeth in snow and ski wear, so it's no surprise that the Swedish manufacturer got bored waiting for winter to roll back around and branched out into the world of dry dirt. The men's Flow Shorts incorporate stretchy, pedal-friendly front paneling with a hardy hit of nylon reinforcement in the rear. The stretch means they won't hamper your efforts while you're abusing the trail, and the durable backside means they'll offer up protection when the trail abuses back.

Look, no one wants to pay more than $50 bucks for shorts these days, but damn when you grab a pair of these from POC you'll know just the reason you paid that extra few bones. I took quite the digger in these and didn't have a scratch on the shorts. I assure you my cheeks and knee would have felt a whole lot worst without these.

The material also feels perfect in the sense that it is lightweight, durable, and still has great mobility for long climbs and techy downhill.

    Heavy, Really Long

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs large

These shorts have a lot of heavy fabric. They are probably very durable, but I can't imagine riding in them when temperature is above 70deg. Construction seems good, but crotch zipper is pretty wimpy.

They are very long. I think I read 13" inseam in the reviews somewhere. I think they are much longer than that. Past my knees and I've got some long femurs. I don't think I would like pedaling in these.

    Burly, Fit Well

I love these shorts. Burly, and good fit once you size down. I honestly can't tell if these are actually warmer than a lighter material or not. I'm psyched that this will be the last pair of shorts I need for a VERY long time… Well worth the price.
