The Pioneer Cycle-Computer bundle is, as they say, the total package. The SGX-CA500 is a bit of a pioneer itself, with Pioneer’s new Pedal Monitoring System and Pioneer’s cloud-based Cyclo-Sphere website to optimize your training. Once bundled with the Heart Rate Monitor and Cadence Sensor, however, your bike becomes a your own gym with a personal trainer.
Pioneer’s Pedal Monitoring System displays power output for each leg to help you even out your pedal power and increase efficiency. The SGX-CA500 includes six preconfigured screens that display a range of one to nine metrics at a time. You can choose the information you need by simply swiping through the screens like a smartphone. This makes navigation easy, even when you’re pedaling. After the ride, you can upload the data to Pioneer’s cloud-based Cyclo-Sphere website using the built-in WiFi feature. Cyclo-Sphere is an online training center that lets you analyze left- and right-side pedal efficiency, power, and force vectors, among other types of data designed to optimize your training and whip you into race-day condition quickly.

This is a great computer.
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I recently purchased the Pioneer SGX-CA500 bundle with a HR strap and cadence/speed sensor to go with Pioneer power meter. Although I do not have the power meter yet, I've used the computer on several rides and I must say, it's fantastic. It does take some time to learn all the functions and the touch screen does take some time getting used to but once you figure it out, it's pretty simple. Coming from a Garmin Edge 500, the WiFi feature of the SGX-CA500 makes uploading to Cyclo-Sphere and Strava hassle free. I had no issues pairing the computer to the existing sensors on my bikes and it's worked flawless so far. The included mount is very solid and keeps the computer on very secure. It also looks very cool on the bike. Although I haven't used the included cadence/speed sensor yet, it looks to be very well made. I would recommend this computer to anyone whether they have a pioneer power meter or not. So far, it has been every bit as good if not better than the Garmin it replaced.
