    Never leave home without it.

You never know when your adventures will accidentally continue on through the night, which is why you should always keep the Petzl Tikka Headlamp nearby. With 80 lumens, this little light can brighten your way up to 131 feet, and two different modes (with the simple push of a button) let you adapt the brightness to specific situations. Petzl also included three AAA batteries, an elastic headband, and added some phosphorescence to the water-resistant housing so you can find it in low-light situations.

    Great lamp, Better price.

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

So when it comes to needing a light... Its usually dark and you need to see something. If you're like me you don't need a ton of bells, whistles or features in order to see with your light. This little lamp is great. Its lightweight, seems to have good battery life, batts incld which was nice. Its got 2 settings, low is plenty bright for most tasks and high is bright enough to navigate a trail at night. Also when you turn it off there is a little glow in the dark spot on the light so you can find it again in the dark. Nice touch petzl! All in all, a great yet simple light.

    Great while it lasted

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought my dad two of these for Christmas last year. He loves them, he uses them for work and when he is camping. Unfortunately, one of the headlamps stopped working all together. We tried new batteries and everything. The headlamp stays on for a few minutes and then turns off. It's too bad but at least they were useful for a year.

    Great headlamp

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Bought two of these for my then 11 and 14 year old daughters to use for camping trips. They have used them regularly for the past two seasons and the lamps have held up wonderfully.

    Awesome Headband

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I use head lamps running at night and this headband is Amazing! It's VERY secure and so comfortable. It's like a fuzzy blanket. I don't get head aches and it doesn't budge at all. I love that I can adjust the light to focus where ever I need it, whether is it far or right near my feet so I don't trip, again. It's plenty bright. Also, it comes with batteries, so that's convenient, especially if you're giving it as a gift! Seriously though, the head band is amazing.

    Awesome Headband

    Much brighter than expected

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I got this last minute for a trip and was very surprised at how bright it was. Much better than the older model I had. Really can't be the price either.

TIKKA = Reliable, classic, killer deal

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I take this headlamp with me everywhere. It's basic, but packs enough power for all my late night activities. Comfortable, relatively light. Good battery life. I've had mine for over 5 years, and I think I've changed the batteries twice?
