When lives are on the line and you cannot be concerned with the strength of your gear, count on the Petzl Rescue Pulley for hauling heavy loads. The Rescue pulley has a safe working load of 8kN (1800lb) and a breaking strength of 32kN, making it ideal for rescue situations where a victim and assistants are being hauled up a cliff at the same time, A large attachment point on top accepts up to three carabiners, so the main anchor can easily be backed up.
Bottom Line: Don't compromise on strength; use the Rescue pulley when it counts.

We use this when we go top roping at our local rock and it performs awesome! you can attach multiple caribiners to it which adds comfort to me setting up and its bombproof as far as l can see. its a good company and a good product.

If you are wanting to do a Tyrolean traverse with cable then you should check out the Petzl Tandem Cable or the Tandem Speed which are designed for both cable and rope. Be sure to follow all the manufactures instructions for using these devices. Be safe and wear a helmet.

I use this pulley for my work they are Great! I work at heights up to 2000' in the wireless industry we use the pulley for hoisting parts tools up towers. I swear by Petzl products, i put my life in their hands daily.
