Are you tired of headlamp batteries dying because of cold weather? The time has come to upgrade to the Petzl Duobelt LED 5 Headlamp for versatile lighting in absolutely frigid temps. Wear the waist-mounted battery pack inside your warm jacket to protect the batteries from the debilitating effects of cold weather. A single halogen bulb provides excellent long-distance lighting for nighttime route finding while the five LED bulbs save battery power by running for an amazing 350 hours, without need for replacement. On top of the versatile lighting, the Petzl Duobelt LED 5 Headlamp also provides completely waterproof seals to make it a great canyoneering lamp.

Bottom Line: Never let cold weather darken your night. Stay in the light with the Petzl Duobelt LED 5 Headlamp.

Great light for lighting up whatever you need. But, way too heavy for me. I'd recommend it for cyclists or someone who doesn't have to carry it over long distances.

Does the hologen light have a zoom feature? If it does I am dissappointed

Does the hologen light have a zoom feature? If it does I am dissappointed that it is not mentioned in the specs for this headlamp. Also is the zoom separate from the on/off switch as in other models (that is if there IS a light focus feature...)?

Yes there is a zoom on the Halogen light. Zoom is on the Right side of the light while wearing it, and the on/off is on the left while the user is wearing it.Might I add, if you are going to spend $100, throw in the extra $50 for the Petzl Duobelt LED 14..http://www.backcountry.com/store/PTZ0186/Petzl-Duobelt-LED-14-Headlamp.html

Works well, easy to switch between the two light sources. Mind you to keep the batterypack warm, or it'll use up the batteries pretty fast.
