- Familiarity: I've used it several times
This backpack is really sweet. The plaid is nice rustic touch, and the bright cobalt blue draw string is really cute with the coloring of the rest of the bag. I bought it for work and travel. The tech specs we had at 13 x 6 x 6" are incorrect. These dimensions initially deterred me from ordering the backpack since my work computer is a 15". However, I did some more research and realized that the pack was larger than expected. These are the correct Specs:
o Bottom Width: 12 1/2 in
o Middle Width: 12 1/2 in
o Top Width: 12 1/2 in
o Depth: 6 1/2 in
o Height: 17 in
o Strap Length: 34 in
o Strap Drop: 17 in
o Handle Length: 8 in
o Handle Drop: 4 in
o Weight: 1 lb 10 oz
The inside of the pack is a large open pocket, with a large zip pocket and two open pockets for something like a water bottle or miscellaneous items. I Took it fishing, and held my non fishing supply in it which contained, a Katadyn water filter, rain jacket, two pb&j's, two apples (in the back zip pocket), two nalgenes, an ENO double nester hammock (strapped to the outside), prussics/webbing, extra pair of thermal leggings, my husband's wallet and phone as well as mine. The space is deceiving. It can really hold a lot.
It's also cute enough I can use it as my travel pack instead of a purse.
The downside is the price. It's quite expensive for the actual pack, given it has not technical aspects; however I suppose you pay for the name. It has thick zippers to prevent snagging and the material does seem very durable. I can throw it in the dirt and now worry about it getting ruined.
