A warm and hardy blanket when the weather gets nasty.

Hunker down in front of the fire with a glass of scotch, a trashy mystery, and the Pendleton Camp Blanket when winter winds howl the arrival of a record-breaking blizzard. This hardy blanket combines virgin wool with just a hint of cotton for a soft hand sans itch. Wool naturally resists flames and moisture so fire-front snuggling won't result in a spark-pocked blanket, and a little spill doesn't necessitate a trip to the dry cleaners. This rugged blanket holds up winter after winter after winter for uninterrupted years of warmth, and it's made in the US. And when this blanket finally does give up the ghost, your pooch or feline friend will love having your worn-out blanket as their new pet bed.

    Awesome Blanket

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The Pendleton Camp Blanket is built to last and definetley lives up to the quality that the Pendleton name insures. Bought this for my sister for x-mas so far she uses it as a throw on her couch but plans on using it during warmer weather months to chill out at the park and summer concerts.

    PERFECT BLANKET

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have several of these blankets and I don't feel you can get a better blanket for the price. This is a great blanket to keep in your trunk for emergencies, or to cover up with watching a movie on the couch.

    Blanket

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I love this blanket! I wasn't sure about purchasing this blanket at first because I thought it would be scratchy due to the wool but I was pleasantly surprised. This blanket is very soft for being made of wool. I use it as a throw on my couch. Its very warm and is the perfect size for cuddling with someone you love.

    Best Blanket Ever!!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought one of these to keep in the car, and ended up picking up a few more to keep around the house. Love the weight, and feel. It will never smell musty if it gets a little wet like cheaper wool blankets. I think I find myself buried under one of these 6 out of 7 nights a week.

    Warmest Blanket

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I got this as a gift for one of my good friends. He has used it extensively and told me I had to get a few for my self. I ordered the twin and it was even bigger than expected. Great warm blanket for cold winter nights!

    Pendleton Rules

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This blanket is super soft for being wool, not scratchy at all. Incredibly warm for not being super bulky. I really like the size of this camping blanket, easy to pack and take along anywhere. I also really like the retro style designs.

    Awesome!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

In a word - awesome. The wool that this blanket is made of is incredibly soft to the touch, and not itchy whatsoever. Great quality, obviously will last a lifetime. Couldn't be more satisfied - worth the price!

    Beautiful

This is a very thick, high quality wool blanket. When rolled up it's almost as big as one of my sleeping bags. I plan to use it in my camper with sleeping bags in extreme cold. I've seen complaints online about other blankets that stink - NOT this one. Don't throw away your $$ on cheap wool blankets. I expect this to last many, many years. I love it!

Like Highlander, There Can Only Be One!

This is the blanket to have. I use it for camping, laying on the beach, on the couch, concerts, etc. This blanket is durable, soft and comfortable. It is heavy and keeps you exudes luxury!

        Great Father's Day Gift!

        • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I got this for my dad for Father's Day and he absolutely loved it. They live on a lake so this will be a perfect, over-sized blanket to use on the boat for those cool Summer nights. I bought it in the Lake Twin colorway and he loved the basic, bigger stripes.

        Pendleton = awesome

        • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
        • Fit: True to size

As the other reviews have stated, this blanket is pretty much a "can't miss". Incredible quality (as expected from Pendleton), great color schemes, and super comfortable. Great for a picnic or for a snuggle-sesh on the couch.

        Nearly 40 years strong

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I was given an old Pendleton Camp Blanket about two years ago by my beloved Aunt and Uncle.
The catch - they've owned it for nearly 40 years.
It's seen a ton of adventures and it's really special in my family, I have never received such a thoughtful, treasured gift.

We used my old blanket alongside a brand new Pendleton blanket and aside from a few holes where sparks singed my blanket 20 years ago, you honestly couldn't tell mine was nearly 40 years old! I think that's a pretty striking testament to the craft and care that goes into making these blankets.

Pretty much the coolest gift you could ever bestow upon newlyweds, a fresh graduate or someone with a special birthday. You can expect them to enjoy their Pendleton for the next 40 years and more. Absolutely gorgeous stuff.

        Incredible Warmth

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought this blanket to keep in my car as a "safety blanket", and it hands down beats any blanket I've used before. I find fleece blankets to be drafty and not warm at all. This blanket is burley and still "light", but it keeps heat in well, it's not itchy and is high quality. If you want a WARM blanket, not just a easily stowed lightweight fleece, this is the ONE.

        Strap it Behind Your Saddle

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
        • Fit: True to size

Pendleton has a tradition of weaving fine wool blankets that stretches back to the 19th century, and their Camp Blanket is exactly what I would imagine an old west cowboy to have strapped behind his saddle. The wool weave is soft and warm yet still feels hearty and durable. At the end of the last song, as if on cue, dark clouds blew in and it started raining. The damp blanket smelled a bit like a wet horse, but in a good nostalgic sort of way, and that’s how you know it’s authentic.

        Great Gift

Bought this in Mineral Umber for my brother and sister-in-law that recently moved to Maine as a Christmas present. They seem very happy with it so far. Hard to go wrong with Pendleton.
