Although the selection of women's bib shorts on the market is improving, some of us still prefer a bib-free cycling short. Easy to get on and off and supremely practical during mid-ride pit stops, the Pearl Izumi Elite In-R-Cool Women's Shorts provide all these advantages and offer comfortable support no matter how many miles you plan on covering.
The stretchy Elite Transfer fabric in the Elite Women's In-R-Cool Shorts offers a great combination of moisture management capabilities with the special In-R-Cool technology that's claimed to reflect direct sunlight to lower the fabric's temperature and reduce body surface temperature by up to 5%.
Silicone leg grippers hold the leg hems in place without pulling or pinching your skin. If you're wondering where the tan line will fall, the Pearl Izumi Elite In-R-Cool Shorts have an eight and three-quarter inch inseam in a size Medium. As a final touch, Pearl Izumi includes reflective elements to increase visibility to others in low-light conditions.
Pearl Izumi includes its comfort-oriented Women's Elite 3D Chamois, designed to fit the contours of a woman's body with multi-thickness padding for exceptional comfort without unnecessary bulk. Pearl Izumi's Pressure Relief Technology ups the comfort factor and ensures the pad won't cut off your circulation. The pad's four-way stretch keeps it moving with you and wicking sweat so that you won’t have to worry about irritating, saddle-sore-causing friction.

- Q & A
Unfortunate seam placement
These shorts didn't work for me because the seam detailing on the lower inner thigh cut deep into my skin - it wasn't a comfort issue as much as it was an appearance problem - it looked like I was binding myself with rubber bands, and the resulting bulges were very unattractive. I'd like to think I have pretty toned legs, but this band-made bump made them look fat. Never want to call attention to the worst part of your anatomy...
