The Pearl Izumi Women's Syncro Float 2 Running Shoes are ideal for runners who like to run about three miles in the morning and then get on with their day. Pearl Izumi made these lightweight running shoes for neutral runners who barely pronate. A seamless race slipper feels super smooth against your foot and decreases your chance of blisters. The Float 2 Running Shoes have forefoot flex grooves that allow you to transition throughout your stride smoothly. The carbon rubber outsole grabs onto surfaces easily, even if you encounter some slippery mud. Pearl Izumi outfitted these running shoes with 360-degree reflectivity to ensure others can see you when the light is low.

These shoes really make you feel like you're floating when running. Had good grip on trails even when soaking wet. I treaded swamp and had these shoes in knee-deep muddy water, then went on to run the trails. These shoes held up! No blisters even when my socks were soggy wet.

I have the first model of the SyncroFLOAT and have loved them from day one. The SyncroFLOAT 2 however has not been as great for me. They do not feel as comfortable from the get-go, and they are not as comfortable while jogging as the original SynchroFLOAT, not to mention my pinky toes got "pins and needles". I'm continuing to use them for now to see if they just need more breaking in than my other SyncroFLAOT, and i'm trying to experiment with different lacing, but the laces are really short and doing something as simple and common as the runners loop leaves very little lace left to actually tie your shoes (and you can certainly forget about any kind of double knot).
