Rode on these shorts on summer. Never had chaffing or discomfort. Good padding - perfect for long-rides. Has a longer leg length than some others.

It has substantial padding, good coverage. It is some type of molded red fabric with indentations built in for various areas. It must be good, it has a patent number stamped on it!

these shorts are extremely comfortable for either road or mountain biking. they've got just enough padding and the shorts really do not get smelly after a long ride because of the material.
