Let's face it, Mother Nature doesn't care about your training ride. Luckily for you, Pearl Izumi does, and its Select Thermal Long-Sleeve Jersey will ensure that you make the most of this winter. The jersey's elegant shape is constructed from a Pearl Izumi fabric that keeps you cozy in the saddle when near-freezing headwinds attempt to foil your spin. Don't let your fitness hibernate for the winter; zip up and roll out.

Pearl Izumi's Select Thermal Long-Sleeve Jersey relies on the exclusive Select Thermal fleece fabric for protection from near-freezing temperatures. The fabric uses a stretchy construction to conform to the contours of your body and provide ample insulation. The secure, semi-slim fit retains core-generated warmth without the feeling of riding in a steam room. Instead, the Select Thermal fleece construction ensures a high level of breathing and moisture transfer. And in case you need to dump heat on your approach to the summit, the Select features a full-length zipper with internal draft flaps to block the wind when closed. For long rides, the jersey also has zippered back pocket to house your essentials.

The Pearl Izumi Select Thermal Long-Sleeve Jersey is available in six sizes from X-Small to XX-Large and in the colors Black, Orchid, Peacock, and White.

Select this Jersey

After 3 weeks off my bike due to cold weather, finally I was able to take my new jersey out for a ride. The orchid is so gorgeous! Even though it is a thermal, you still need a bit of windproof. I wore a base layer to provide this protection. Love the comfort of this jersey. Nice high neck.
Don't miss out on this one.

With colder days here soon, for cold weather rides try Gore's Windstopper base layers, they offer them in various sleeve lengths...for cold rides I like their zip mock Windstopper (it will probably be available here, soon).

For Wind/Rain/Snow barrier, try Gore's ALP-X 2.0 jacket, that also has a removable hood. They also offer a version of this tech. in pants (to be worn over tights).

Keep in mind, the Gore-Tex is only a wind/rain barrier, not insulated, so you would still want a good bike jacket (like Giordana FRC, for example)...I would suggest to size up in the Gore jacket so there will be room to wear over a insulated warm jacket, if needed.

Then you'll be set to ride most all year round!
