Cat. 1 fit and performance.
A race-proven design, the Pearl Izumi P.R.O. LTD Jersey has the pedigree to run with the Cat 1 crowd, where maximum technical ability is paramount. To achieve this, Pearl pulls out all of the stops, from fit to fabric, making it built for speed and efficiency.
This starts with Izumi's P.R.O. Transfer fabric with In-R-Cool technology. Essentially, Transfer was incorporated for its ability to 'transfer' moisture away from the skin, transporting it to the quick-drying surface of the fabric. Additionally, Izumi has treated this material with a Coldblack finish in order to reflect the sun's rays. And, according to Coldblack's creators, this treatment cools the surface temperature of the jersey by up to 35 degrees Fahrenheit. Accordingly, these traits alone make the LTD ideal for hot summer rides and races. However, Izumi has further increased airflow through the jersey by incorporating its P.R.O Aero mesh side panels.
This saves watts incrementally over a race course, boosting your chances of landing on the podium. Another significant contributing factor to this is the jersey's anatomic fit and the patent-pending, P.R.O. LTD sleeve construction. This allows a complete freedom of movement, whether you're crouched in the drops or dancing on the pedals.
Adding to the overall comfort of the jersey is are a flatlock seam construction and elasticized grippers that prevent migration and irritation while pedaling.
The Pearl Izumi P.R.O. LTD Jersey is available in five sizes from Small to X-Large and in the colors Post Up Silver, Atomic Black, Atomic White, and Post Up True Red.

Yes, it's worth it
It would be abnormal not to ask yourself, "who in their right mind would pay this much for a shirt?" To answer that question, all you have to do is try one on. This will forever change the way you look at cycling apparel. Everything else will suddenly become substandard.
I use this on long rides, centuries and the like, and it always keep me cool and comfortable. Who cares if it makes you look like "that guy."I like "that guy," he knows what's up.
