Excellent quality and performance

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The glove is perfect for rain and temperatures in the 30's and 40's. My only advice is to order up one size larger than you think. Order up two sizes if you want to layer over a cycling glove or liner glove. Too tight = cold hands.

GREAT waterproof gloves

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've worn these in the low 30s with rain and been quite comfortable. No liner glove needed. They insulate without becoming clammy and the feel is actually quite good. I suspect with a wool liner they would be warm down into the teens.

Not warm, do OK in light rain

I've been happy with these gloves so far. I ride them with a Giordana liner and can get down to about 40 degrees before I find them too cold. Without a liner this is probably a 55 + glove (my hands do get cold easily). There's barely a liner in them so I'd suggest a thicker liner like the Giordana Over/Under Lightweight Liner Glove. The big terry cloth section on the thumb is a plus.

Great gloves

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'd give them 5 star if they had palm pads too...but maybe they are meant to be used as I used them? I rode with a pair of light weight full finger biking gloves under them. That keep me warm and gave me the pad my hands need for those longer rides.Gloves are basically shells! But... they are bomber!

Horrible "waterproof" gloves

I have used these a few times now in heavy rain and the only thing they are good for is letting the water in and keeping my hands freezing. The first time I thought it was because I didn't tuck the cuffs under my jersey so water ran in at the wrist. Second time I tucked them but they were just as wet and really only managed to fill up like a balloon while doing a great job of keeping all the water in. Very disappointed in these gloves and they don't come near being waterproof in my opinion.

great but pricey gloves

I really like the feel and fit of these gloves. Have made it through serious downpour without leakage although I am not sure if these are seam-sealed and if not a longer ride might lead to leakage. The velcro closure is a bit of a pain but I do like how tight it holds which makes it easy to fit these inside the cuffs of jackets.

Very little insulation so you need a liner or different gloves when it gets cold. $80 should get a little more insulation.
