Trail-optimized support.

Ready for epic rides and hot laps alike, the Pearl Izumi Men's Liner Bib Short offers trail-optimized support and moisture-wicking performance for singletrack junkies. Simply slip these under your favorite baggies for moisture-wicking comfort and increased padding on longer rides. Its Minerale polyester (formerly known as Cocona) contains embedded carbon particles that spread built-up moisture over a much larger surface area (up to 800 percent) for fast-drying comfort. Ultimately, this regulates your body temperature for a cooler, drier feel when the mercury rises throughout your ride.

Featuring Pearl's Elite 3D Chamois, the Liner Bib Short provides Pressure Relief Tech that optimizes comfort and bloodflow when you're pedaling for hours at a time. The chamois' breathable 4-way stretch conforms to your body for a custom fit, also wicking moisture off your body to reduce irritation.

Other comfort-enhancing features include mesh upper construction for a lightweight, breathable feel, as well as strategic seam placement for an optimal, chafe-free fit. Moreover, this bib short has three back pockets located on the bib straps for stashing small items.

Great idea, not sure about durability

I have always worn road bibs under baggy shorts because I love bibs. But it does get kinda hot because it is two items designed to be your outer layer. So these looked perfect to me! A nice chamois, the comfort of bibs, but the material is thin and meshy to be worn under baggies.
Pearl Izumi sizing has always been inconsistent to me, so I snagged a Medium, Large, and XL to try out. The mediums were obviosly too small, and the XL's were baggy, which left me with the large. They honestly might be to small still, but I think it's more an issue of they don't stretch enough. The chamois fits great, but I struggle a little to get the bib part over my shoulder, and the legs are a little tight too. They just need a little more stretch in my opinion.

I am also seeing a small area where the mesh material is blowing out a little on my right leg. I have 2 of them and it is only happening on 1. If it stays as it is now, it will be fine, but if it gets any bigger I will have to look into swapping them for a new pair.

Oh, and I have yet to use the pockets on the bib, because I only have 1 cage on my bike currently and I'm always paranoid it won't be enough water, so I wear the camelbak. But I plan to use them for shorter rides as I think it's a great idea and I'd love to get the pack of my back occasionally
