Description

Keep it simple.

The Pearl Izumi Launch Jersey transports us back to a simpler time. A time, five years ago (give or take), when every jersey didn't have to have zippers criss-crossing every possible fabric panel. A time when you didn't need media pockets because you went biking to escape all that crap. A time when a shirt was just a shirt, and breathable, moisture-wicking fabric was enough. Join us for a journey into the not-so-distant past. Oh, and grab your Pearl Izumi Launch Jersey–you'll need that.

The Pearl Izumi Launch Jersey is made for warm-weather riding. The breathable, moisture-wicking polyester fabric pulls moisture away from your skin to keep you dry and comfortable. It also dries quickly, so it remains lightweight, even during intense riding. Light weight is a big part of what makes the Launch one of our favorites. Without zippers, pockets, and headphone conduits, the Launch weighs almost nothing. This is a welcome departure from many of the jerseys that are popping up these days, which are strewn from collar to hem with bells, whistles, doo-dads, and–let's face it–gimmicks. For a little bit of added style, Pearl Izumi gave the Launch Jersey a comfortable V-neck collar and unique asymmetrical print that sets it apart from the cookie-cutter riding jerseys you see all over the trails.

The Pearl Izumi Launch Jersey comes in sizes S through XXL. It's available in Electric Blue/Grey Scrib Camo, Black/Samurai Plaid, and Shadow Grey/Grey Hex.

Simple. Awesome.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

Such a bad ass looking shirt. Subtle, yet some pop in there. Great for not only MTB, but hiking and trail runs. The fabric is light, but still has some strength and has held up after some diggers.

At 190 and 43 chest, the size Large fits perfectly. Not too loose, not too tight. Like how a MTB jersey should fit. Highly recommended if you want something simple. As always with this kind of gear, I recommend purchase at discount, because ultimately, its just a poly wicking shirt that can be found for cheap anywhere.
