Pearl Izumi designed its Junior Short Sleeve jersey just like the grown-ups' version. It uses the same technical fabrics and little details that have made Pearl Izumi such a reputable brand, but was created in smaller sizes to fit your younger rider's frame.

Pearl Izumi used its Select Transfer material for the construction of the Junior jersey. This fabric earned its reputation of setting the standard for moisture management fabrics, largely because it is the foundation for all the moisture-management fabrics used in much more expensive Pearl Izumi jerseys. So you can feel confident that you are getting great technology at a much lower price point. In addition to moving moisture to the fabric's quick drying outer layer, Select transfer is also incredibly light in weight, which means that it breathes much better than standard Lycra blends.

The Junior Short Sleeve's straightforward cut means that there aren’t useless features that add to the cost, just essential elements that make it a great-fitting, handsome, utilitarian jersey. Easy all-out ventilation was made possible via the 6-1/2in zipper, and three back pockets give you places to stuff all the snacks he'll need on the ride. An elasticized gripper on the back keeps the jersey in place, while the usual well-placed Pearl Izumi reflective elements will keep him seen in low-light riding conditions.
