Pearl Izumi collaborated with two-time Ironman Wold Champion Tim DeBoom to create the Women's EM Tri N 2 Running Shoe. Tim's experience with long-distance racing was vital in the design of this flexible and lightweight training shoe. Ideal for fast, smooth running, the EM strikes a careful balance of efficient foot positioning, explosive energy return, and comfort. The breezy mesh upper feels smooth against your bare foot thanks to seamless construction, and the supple midsole features a low 3.5mm drop for easy transitions between heel, mid, and forefoot strikes. Seconds matter when you're racing or training, so Pearl Izumi's designers added a quick-lacing system at the forefoot and a pull tab at the heel so you can get this shoe on and off fast. Slide your foot into this shoe and watch stage transitions fly by and long courses simply disappear underneath your toes on the way to the podium.
