Peak Performance Supreme Feather Jacket - Men's - 2010 BCS

SUPER warm (not that we've needed warmth this season so far....), and very high quality construction. Lots of nice details, including a glasses-cleaning cloth built in to one of the pockets - that was a nice surprise. Also has stretchy cuffs on the sleeves with those little holes for your thumbs, so ain't no snow going up your sleeves. I really like the removable hood.... I hate hoods, but when you need one, they are nice to have!

I would put the coat in a category that is not-really-"technical", but has a lot of features & construction that make it pretty hard-core. Definitely stylin'.

I bought the size 54, which fits me perfectly: 6'3", 195, and I wear a 42 long suit coat, 16/36 dress shirt.

This jacket is extremely warm. I bought it for mostly around town wear, I spend a lot of time walking outside in the city, but went skiing yesterday in temps in the teens so wore this instead of my regular skiing gear and never was remotely cold, and even got hot at times. It's a little puffier than the pictures suggest, but still not as puffy as some down jackets. In general, it has a pretty clean look.

For sizing, I typically wear a large, but for this I went up to an XL equivalent (54) for a little more room under the arms, the large fit a little tight for layering. Of course then the sleeves are a little longer than I'd like but I chose to take that versus the alternative.

Overall pretty happy with the jacket, although I would have tweaked a few things (sizing, pit zips, and just a bit too puffy for my taste) but it serves it purpose of keeping me warm in super cold temps. Thanks to Backcountry for their easy exchange/shipping policies to help me choose.
