The need to stay warm should not conflict with the need to look your best. Zip up in the Women’s Denali Down Jacket from Peak Performance and keep the cold out without sacrificing your femininity. The fitted cut shows off your curves, while the down fill keeps you toasty even on bitterly cold days.

  • The 550-fill down helps keep you insulated on cold days or when you are night-skiing on those cold clear nights
  • Lycra wrist-gaiters and a drawstring hem help keep out drafts and stray snow
  • Elastic powder skirt keeps snow from flying up your back should you take a tumble, and it detaches so you can sport this jacket downtown without a bunch of waist-bulk
  • Underarm zip vents let you dump excess heat when you start getting warm
  • Zippered and mesh internal pockets give you ample room for your music, phone, and other goodies
  • Backcountry.com is the exclusive US retailer for Peak Performance products

Bottom Line: The cold won’t even touch you.

feminine puffy

I actually have this puffy in two colors I love it so much... but then again who doesn't love a puffy jacket? They're super warm, comfortable, and super warm. What I think separates this puffy from others is that Peak Performance managed to take a puffy- make it high performance (ie - wrist gaiters, and a removable powder skirt inside) and give it a feminine cut. I have been wearing Peak Performance for 5 years now and until Backcountry.com started selling their clothing there was not one place to purchase a Peak Performance item in the states. . . I receive SO MANY compliments on this puffy--and for that matter on Peak women's clothing. People are always looking for a place to buy it. Peak Performance is REALLY good at making things that are meant to be used/skied, while incorporating style and fashion, and really taking into heed a female body as opposed to a "general" female cut.

Hi, what is the sleeve length size for this jacket? I am interested in a size small but I am 5'8 so I'm concerned about sleeves being too short. thank you

I don't know if you've already been answered or not...I own the Medium the way I measured it just now: cuff to shoulder seam was about 25"... I'm 5'7 and the sleeves are barely too long for me. There is a sweet lycra wrist gaitor (with a thumb hole- which I LOVE) that is long enough for your gloves to go over and yet still properly fit under the actual cuff of the jacket. I own this jacket in a Large as well--I weigh 150 lbs and feel like the medium is the way to go. The Large is just a little too big... loses femininity for my size> plus when you're wearing a jacket this warm you don't need to layer up underneath= it's a one-stop-shop.

Warm, Functional, Looks Good

I love the collar on this jacket. Unlike the jacket it replaced, it comes up nice and high and you can tuck the bottom of your face into it. The pit zips are pretty decent, and actually open at your arm pit, unlike other jackets I've had that have something more like sleeve vents that are not nearly as effective. They could be a little bit longer on this jacket, but they do the trick. The jacket fits nicely, and has a more feminine cut than many other puffy jackets out there. I wear a medium jacket in most brands, and the medium in this jacket fits great. The Limencello color is definitely bright, though I did end up liking it better in the flesh than in the photo.
