The pant’s slightly stretchy outer layer and additional lighter, low-bulk layer are backed up by a waterproof breathable Gore-Tex membrane for the ultimate protection from wind and snow.
- Light stretch in the outer layer, articulated knees, and crotch gusset maximize your mobility
- Extra-long side zips help you dump heat you work up chopping through the deep snow
- Superfabric-reinforced hems protect your pants from boot buckles and ski edges
- High back in the waist keeps out snow and drafts
- Adjustable tabs at the waist and detachable suspenders allow you get the fit just the way you like it
- Backcountry.com is the exclusive US retailer for Peak Performance products

I was very hesitant to buy these due to the price tag but I bit the bullet and grabbed them to replace my TNF FreeThinkers...
They fit nice and baggy so my big thighs wernt and issue. I got the gooseberry color so they ummm STAND OUT!! to say the least. Had some issues that the top buttons kept popping open but with the suspenders its not much of an issue. Overall well built and worth the price but not 100% necessary...if you are on a budget you will get just as much out of a cheaper TNF or similar pant.

Hi skidawg ... It sounds like you own both the Norrona Lofoten Pant and the Peak Performance BL 3L Pant ... Can you share which one you prefer and why? Thanks!

yep...neither is a total freeride baggy cut however, we both sized up. Similar dimensions or cut. The boot gaitor on this pant is very secure and takes an extra step putting it on the right way around your ski boot. The throat of the this pant is wide enough to easily so over youboot but I'm not sure if the Heli soft shell put flares out at the bottom a bit more. I would call and talk to Peak's Whistler General Store and ask em to lay out both pants. Good folks, very helpful. I ordered the matching Black Light jacket to this Pant from them. Its the Shiz... their number is:
