These wool t-shirts are great for staying comfortable in extreme conditions and rapid body temperature changes. I like to keep a few of these around to wear under my long sleeve to save on laundry. Takes a few days of charging to make one of these stink!

Still my all-time favorite T-Shirt for hiking and backpacking. Light, comfortable, breathable, and cut well. These shirts just feel so much better on than the synthetics do. They are not cheap, and require the extra care of a hand wash cycle and line drying, but are well worth it. I am currently in search of more, as I only have two of these.
