There is absolutely no Gore-Tex here

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

I ordered this jacket based on the description...a light-weight, waterproof, and wind shielded jacket. It is light-weight, but there is absolutely no Gore-Tex in this jacket. There are places that have a Polartec WindShield fabric, but that is a far cry from a "waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex membrane." It's still a decent jacket if all you want is a windbreaker for running, and maybe I'll keep it, but the description is severely misleading.
