I’ve run in these pants for over a month now in the hills of eastern Washington, and they’ve exceeded my expectations. I’ve worn them in temps from the mid-20s to mid-40s, in snow and light rain. The DWR finish kept me dry in those conditions, but I wouldn’t count on them staying dry in a downpour. They are constructed with the right amount of windproof fabric in the front, and less in the back where it isn’t needed. The cut is a little loose (not baggy), and it is stretchy, so they are very comfortable. I have a slight build at 5’6” and 140 lbs (30 inch waist, 30 inch inseam) and the small fits perfectly. The zips at the bottom are nice, but I don’t use them. You couldn’t get them on or off over running shoes, so I think they might just let a little more airflow in if you unzipped them. There is a gusset at the bottom, so the zips don’t actually open to expose your skin.

Hey Backcountry, can you order more...
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
These are the best windshield pants I've ever owned. Honestly. I wear them trail running in the winter, at snowshoe races, in rainy weather, and around the house. I hope Backcountry can snag up a few more of these for next year...
