Description

Three-layer Gore Tex, a progressive fit, and a brushed polyester backer place this pant at the very top of the food chain.

Whether you're one of Patagonia's mountain ambassadors, or just a powder-addict getting his yearly heli-fix, you'll love the Untracked Pant. Built with a tough, lightweight Gore-Tex 3-layer laminate, the Untracked represents the tippy-top of outerwear technology. As always, Gore Tex means guaranteed waterproof and guaranteed breathable, so you can handle anything that nature throws your way without feeling moist and clammy.

Patagonia didn't pull any punches when it designed the Untracked pant. Gore-Tex 3-Layer represents the absolute best that the industry has to offer. The main body fabric is plain weave nylon—known for its durability. Tough, reinforced kick patches at the ankles fight off attacks by sharp ski edges, so your cuffs won't fill up with snow after a run in the deep stuff. That's not to say the Untracked pant has a rough-and-tumble feel—Patagonia lined the pant with a soft, brushed, 75D polyester backer for a comfortable feel against the skin.

The Untracked pant's fit is Progressive, which is Patagonia-speak for loose. The highly articulated fit moves with you while you hike or ski and feels comfortable and natural. Patagonia finished the pant off with a Recco reflector, which aids in search and rescue should you become involved in an avalanche.

  • Tough nylon plain weave face fabric with Gore-Tex 3-Layer membrane and DWR
  • Progressive (loose) fit
  • External mesh-lined thigh vents
  • Adjustable elastic waist tabs
  • Loop on rear yoke to attach any Patagonia Snow jacket
  • Durable, reinforced scuff guards
  • 2 hand pockets, 2 thigh pockets, 2 back pockets

Good pant. Really expensive. It will keep you warm and look good doing it! Fits true to size.

The Untracked is a new releaxed fit pant from Patagonia this year. 3 layer Gore, and all the usualy bells and whistles. My favorite feature is that it's got a flannel backed interior for a little extra warmth and comfort, and the shell itself is softer and quieter than traditional 3 layers, it's almost got a soft shell feel to it.
