Chasing Pow in Alaska

Chasing Pow in Alaska

This jacket rocked my world in the backcountry of Alaska! Truly, I searched long and hard for the perfect technical hard shell that I could adjust layers underneath to create the perfect ensemble for the day, one that would hit me in all the right places and still have major style points. This one fit the bill perfectly! I love how high the collar zips up around my neck and fit well with or without a helmet. I am 5'7 140lbs athletic build and the Medium fits like a dream! Happy rider.

Unanswered Question

Im currently torn between this jacket and the patagonia insulated snowbelle jacket. I'm wondering about the overall sizing of patagonia gear? I have a few fleece jackets and pullovers from a few seasons ago and the general theme is a boxy, boy shape. I'm a slim, busty, 5'4'' size 2-4 with chest measurement about 30 inches. Should I go with XS or Small? I really prefer a slim fitted shape, not a boxy borrowed my brother's jacket shape.

Untracked Jacket Goes to Japan

Untracked Jacket Goes to Japan

Love this jacket. Kept me warm and dry in Japan pow. The high zip on the collar is the best. While the waist sits longer than most Patagonia jackets, I still wish it had a slightly longer fit. Still stoked on it though.

Thanks Lexi! Definitely wishing I was back in Japan :)

Finally! A comfy, stylish, fun ski jkt!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

Finally, we have a ski jacket that fits well, isn't super bulky, in a durable and completely weatherproof Gore-tex package in sweet colors! I wore this jacket all last season- at the resort, in the backcountry, and on a trip to Alaska. The Gore-tex package has a fleece lined backer that adds a little bit more warmth than your standard shell, and it just feels nice inside- especially when you are only wearing a baselayer. Oh, and the snow skirt works without having to button it- super low profile, can't even feel that its there. Even though there is some color contrast on the zipper, know that it looks good in any color combo you prefer. The pants are equally as awesome- so check those out too!
