Description

Although honestly, it looks too good to not be worn all the time.

Weighing in at 150 grams, the Patagonia Ultralight Down Shirt can live in the bottom of your backpack; until you need it. The minimalist design contains 800-fill down housed in DWR-treated nylon. It can be worn as part of your layering system or on its own on a cool fall evening. The slim fit of the Down Shirt accentuates the female form, and the quilted box pattern holds the down in the right places. Pull this low bulk shirt out of it’s included stuff sack when the sun starts to set.

Number four!

Love my new pullover! I must love them it's my forth one. It's a great layer without the bulk. And I love all the colors.

Love that down shirt!

ONly wish it had a pocket of some sort. Otherwise the best thing since my nano puff.

Love that down shirt!

Love

I love this jacket, I use it as an extra layer pretty much everywhere on the mountain. It is so small and light I can stuff it into my pack without realizing. It's been awesome as a layer when I am ski touring and skiing down after a longer hike. I up-sized for length but it seems that was not necessary.

fits huge!

Even though Patagonia advertises this as having a slim silhouette, it fits HUGE. I am 5'4" and about 122 lbs and this size XS shirt is too long (goes down to my crotch) and way too big and boxy (I would have to be pregnant with Popeye arms to fill it out). To confirm the horrible fit on me, I looked at the model on the Patagonia site and she shows a slimmer fit (http://www.patagonia.com/us/product/patagonia-womens-ultralight-down-shirt?p=84740-0-371).

Love Patagonia's Ultralight down shirt

This is a killer midlayer piece when on the mountain- it packs super small and is much warmer than you can imagine. I've gotten a lot of use out of it as a stand alone piece but it's definitely my new go to for skiing under my shell. The fit is a little big big to me so I'd recommend going down a size. I'm 5'7 125 and the medium is slightly big- I should have gone with a small but it'll do!

Love it!

This is the best jacket I've ever owned. I cannot believe a jacket this light can really be this warm. It is soft, comfortable, non-binding. I can't say enough good things. I usually wear a size 2 or 4. I purchased the small, but it was too big and fit more like a box. I returned it for an extra small. The XS is a perfect fit.

Cute but baggy

I loved the concept of a pull over down jacket. I loved the bougevilla color (pink). Loved the stiching, compression and warmth. Hate the fit. It is very baggy. I'm guessing is has a boxy fit because it has to pull over your shoulders. It if was tappered it would get stuck. But, even with extra pullover room I think it is too big in the body. The shoulders, arms and chest are fine. I'm 5'5" with 36DD chest and wide athletic shoulders and arms and 29" (8-10) in pants.I wear a large to accomodate my larger upper body. This jacket might have a better fit for someone with slighter or straight build. Haven't decided if I'm keeping it. I might try a medium but I think it will be too small in the shoulders and chest.

Hands down better than the Nano

Couldn't decide between this shirt and the Nano pullover, so i got both knowing I would return one. Hands down this is the better product. Well made, so light weight. Trim fit, but a much better fit than the Nano. I'm 5'4" 140lbs and pretty flat chested. Mediums in both. The Nano was too big. The ultralight is certainly a layering piece with room for only a thin-medium wool top underneath, but that's exactly how I layer. I've been eyeing this shirt forever, and my Alaska vacation starts in two days, and I'm ready for it!

Ultra light shirt is smallish and fits like a bag...

I have a LOT of Patagonia outerwear and this is my biggest disappointment to date. The shirt is cut very narrow and the arms are super slim... not a good fit for robust activities or a robust girl with a little muscle in her arms! I find this shirt fits like a garbage bag. Not very flattering, and not very comfortable. A big disappointment.
