Patagonia Ultra Short

This has become a go to short for m - especially for long races with a fair amount of time between aid stations. The shorts have lots of pockets so you can be your own moving drop bag. However, the locations are great so you don't feel weighed down by them. Patagonia is one of my favorite companies and these shorts are among the best I have ever bought. They are a little longer than most running shorts but I generally wear longer shorts. Great shorts overall.

Comfortable shorts for the long haul

The Patagonia Ultra Shorts have a soft waist band and a comfortable liner. The pockets are quite large and good for small and light items. The major downfall with these shorts is in the front pockets. The pocket liner is not sewn to the short and therefore if you put anything more than a couple of gels in the pockets, they bounce and shift. If you don't use the font pockets much, these are great, but if you want to load up your pockets, these shorts are not for you.

      Amazing Shorts

So this shorts are awesome running shorts. They're super breathable and lightweight and really couldn't be more comfortable.

The pockets are really nice and I could easily carry my keys in the zipper pocket and a packet of clif blocks in one of the front pockets with no issues for an almost 3 hour run. I'm not too sure about the back pockets, seem like things would bounce around too much. I think they'd be good for something lightweight like sleeves or gloves when it's colder out.

The length is great with a 9" inseam. I was a little worried because my other shorts are 7" and shorter. But to be honest I never even noticed the extra length.

Great shorts and well worth the $55. Go buy some now!
