The rain isn't only in Spain, nor is it limited to the plains. Whether you're strolling through a sprinkle in Seville or puddle-jumping while it's pouring in Portland, the Patagonia Women's Torrentshell City Coat keeps the rain away as you go along your way. The 2.5-layer H2No barrier defies water and wind but breathes and dries in a flash so you're protected from wet, both the inside and outside. Even if you're wet-weather exploits are for work and not pleasure, this refined trenchcoat shields you from the rain without turning you into a shapeless, soggy mess.
Crafted from robust 40D nylon ripstop, the H2No shell stays clean and trim, even after close encounters with less-than-gentle concrete cornerstones. The laminate stops water before it hits your skin and moves moisture away from your body so cool and dry is the norm, not the exception. You'll have no problems moving with a purpose since the rear box pleat stretches to fit your stride. The hood protects your 'do, and two snaps under your chin keep everything orderly. Two patch hand pockets have lots of space in case you've ditched your purse.
