    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Size Bought: large

I used these working as a guide in Alaska for a season. They were not particularly breathable, which joined with the fact that they don't fit over my boots meant stopping every time the weather changed unlacing removing boots and starting back up. In Alaska where the weather changes frequently this was a nuisance. Also, they didn't fit very well. The cuff on the ankle was small and the waist large, Which meant I was constantly pulling them up despite trying to cinch the waist down(I am 6'2, 200).

    OK pant

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These work fine to keep rain off for a basic rainpant but aren't anything "special". They're less breathable than I had anticipated and, naturally, not as nice as some of the more expensive pants I have.

They do the trick though for preventing rain from absorbing into your under layers and it's nice to have the ability to stuff them into their own pocket.
