Description

A great day outdoors despite the rainy weather—priceless.

Your girl is game for just about any kind of adventure you can propose—for those excursions that might involve time outdoors in the rain, be sure to outfit her in the Patagonia Girls’ Torrentshell Jacket. This lightweight, packable shell features as waterproof breathable H2No barrier that will keep her dry in the wettest weather; fully taped seams, a full-length storm flap, hook-and-loop closures on the cuffs, and an internal draw cord hem do their part to seal out moisture. When she’s trying to take in the sights on a damp hike to the waterfall, your budding outdoorswoman will appreciate the hood’s built-in foam visor that sheds the rain, the hood’s elasticized sides that won’t block her peripheral vision, and the chin guard that protects her when she’s zipped all the way up.

Hi can you tell me the actual chest size of the girls size S and the M?
your site says S - 25.5-26.5 and M - 27-28, while Patagonia says
S - 26-27 and M 28 1/2 but goes onto say the measurements refer to the body size, not garment dimensions.
My daughter has a 26in chest. which if I use you size range I would go to the M as 27 would allow for the clothes underneath.
If I chose the Patagonia size range I would go for the S as the extra inch is still in the 26-27 S size and the M at 28 1/2 would swamp her.
Could you run a tape over the two jackets and let me know what the actual sizes are so I can make a decision one way or the other?
