    When the weather's torrential.

Whether you're facing sleet and snow in the winter or rain and wind in the spring, the Patagonia Women's Torrentshell Colorblock Jacket is built to keep you dry through just about any variety of sopping wet weather. The tough ripstop nylon shell is fortified with waterproof and breathable H2No Performance Standard protection to defend against the elements, while the two-way adjustable hood has a laminated visor that rolls down and stows away with a simplified cord-and-hook design. When the clouds move on and things dry up, zippered underarm vents help you dump excess heat for a cool fit and feel. And if it gets too hot for a jacket at all, the Torrentshell self-stuffs into one of the handwarmer pockets with a carabiner clip-in loop.

    Great rain shell

Gave this as a gift and have heard great things! Keeps the wet out, looks good, fits true to size. As expected from Patagonia.

    Awesome shell

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Can't beat snagging this on sale, and in an xs to boot. For $77, there isn't a better shell out there. Cute color, pit zips, long enough to give good coverage without being a trench coat, and roomy enough for layers underneath without being baggy. My guy has this same style from ~2yrs ago, and it's held up unbelievably well, to the guy who can break anything. He wears it fishing mostly. It has stood the test of year round fishing, while he went through 3 pairs of top of the line waders - doesn't get more rugged than that.

    Amazing!!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I absolutely love this raincoat! We had an exceptionally wet August here in Alaska and it kept me totally dry! Whether on the way to work or walking on the beach in Homer, this jacket was incredible. Not to mention it's also very stylish!

    A must have Jacket

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

This jacket has become a staple to all me backpacking adventures! I absolutely love the way it fits and performs. I have used it high up in the mountains where the elements are unpredictable! I has kept me warm and dry in rain, wind, and even a bit of snow! I love the ventilation pockets, the fact that it dries very quickly, that it stuffs into its own little pocket, and that it is very light weight! I will never leave on a backpacking adventure without it!

    Another Win for Patagonia

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: Runs large

Patagonia has always nailed it on the head with there outerwear! I got this for my wife and she loves it. Not only does she like it but it preforms really well. We took a recent trip to Yellowstone National Park and it rained a bit and this jacket kept her well protected and dry. Noticed it runs a little on the larger side which is fine works great for a few layers/down jacket under. It also packs down small and compact so it will make great for backpacking trips. Don't hesitate on getting this jacket you will be impressed, promised!!

    Perfect for Breathability and Waterproof

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: M

Bought this for a hiking trip to the Lake District in UK. The weather was uncharacteristically dry, but when the heavens opened, this great jacket was up for the job! It serves as a nice windbreaker too...you don't feel like you're wearing a rain jacket. The fabric is not noisy and breathes.

    Cute and Functional

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Medium

I love Patagonia. Their gear is always super cute without sacrificing what's important.

    What I love:
-Folds down super tiny so it's perfect for packing. It literally folds into it's pocket and has a loop to attach to your pack if you want.
-The colors are really pretty and true to the picture.
-The hood is spectacular with it's little visor.
-Vents in the underarms are perfectly breezy.
-High zipper to keep wind and rain off your neck/lower face.

This jacket fits pretty boxy. I ordered a Medium, and I probably could've gotten a small, but I plan to use this year-round, so having that extra space will be helpful with warmer layers underneath. Either way, it's another product that will last me forever.

looks great, feels great, keeps dry!

great raincoat. reasonable price. probably wont outlast a monsoon but it is a great jacket. as a rainjacket should be - it is a shell! so buy a size bigger so it reaches over your bottom and you can put a layer under in case its cold but stormy.
cool thing is - it doesn't look stupid like a lot of rainjackets do. it actually looks super neat and you can take it to work if you need to. or if you don't have a job - even better, congratulations! ;)
