Down warmth with a stout 2-layer shell.
Inspired by alpine expedition parkas of yore, the Patagonia Men's Thundercloud Down Parka has a classic mountaineer look with some added modern bells and whistles. Utilizing Patagonia's H2No shell with an added DWR finish, this parka will repel moisture, leaving it's 600-fill down insulation to properly insulate even when it gets wet out there. With a recycled polyester ripstop fabric you won't have to worry about any tearing, or loss of down insulation as a result. Great for year round warmth around town, or up in the mountains, the thunder cloud down parka is a versatile down coat with great style.

Favorite Casual Coat
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
The winters this year hit week long stretches of single digit temperatures, and I realized I didn't own a real coat, instead a lot of jackets. Jackets are awesome when you want to layer up and get active in the conditions, but for something that demands a casual setting, this has to be your go to! It's hands down the best coat I've ever owned. It has the look and style of a Canada Goose coat but with the qualities of Patagonia. The placement of the pockets are amazing and the fit is comfortably roomie, extending down to my upper thigh. I highly recommend this to anyone that needs a solid heavy duty jacket to protect them from the conditions - looking at you east coast peoples!
