I've had Patagonia clothes since 1985 and loved the way it took a beating and came through like a well made piece of clothing. Lately though I've noticed that they definitely have changed their sizing pattern. I wear an XL and this one was tight and the sleeves were huge. So see if it was me, I slipped on the other 2 Marsupial pullovers that I've picked up from a couple of years ago and they fit fine. (FWIW, I've also noticed this on a Patagonia jacket I got this year from Backcountry and sent that back as well...)
The other thing I noticed was the absence of the little zipper pocket in the Kangaroo pouch as well as the rubber tip on the zipper. Maybe I'm nitpicking, but, the price didn't go down, the fit was lousy and I rather spend the extra money and get an Arc'teryx Apache pullover.

This is what happens when you source from China supplier who has moved his sweat shops to Vietnam, Malaysia, and Laos.

It fits like most patagonia stuff. I'm 175 and 6'3 and generally wear a medium. Sometimes they're a little short in the sleeves but its usually hardly noticeable and I prefer that to feeling like wearing a trash bag in the body - something I have a problem with in the Larges.

I know this is a pretty basic fleece, but whats the best way to clean it? Ive gotten it pretty dirty wearing it everyday.

Should just be able to stick it in the washer on a cold cycle and low heat in the drier.

This fleece does what its supposed to. Its quality well made fleece, perfect for wearing it cool/cold weather. I love the fit, its relaxed but doesn't feel baggie.

This Patagonia fleece is a good all around fleece. It won't keep out wind or really cold temps, but it will act as a good mid-layer or outerlayer on a mild day outside. Great for running around town and good for nights by the campfire. The size is a Regular fit (unlike Patagonia's R2, etc..jackets) so plan accordingly. It is not a close fit by any means. The sleeves are a bit long (they extend to my fingertips) and the length is a good 3 inches below waistline. (I'm 6'0" 190 and have the Large). All in all a good fleece that makes a comfortable pillow in the backcountry!

I love this peice. I have used and abused it and it is still holding up. It is my warmest fleece. The only down side is that it is not wind resistant at all but I still love it.

This pullover is very durable. This is my use and abuse piece and it does great. Going through these slot canyons can be very hard on cloths because you are always rubbing the walls but this pullover does great.

Great piece of layering. Super glad I got to use mine all fall, as an outerlayer that could handle the beatings at the cabin or in the bush, and as a midlayer on days when you wish you liked the indoors. The fit was a little bulkier than I prefer, but it was extremely movable, without much binding. The pocket on front is great, keeping your essential gear right at hand.

Decent lightweight fleece pullover with a large kangaroo/through pocket on the front. Pretty baggy fit and not the warmest of fleeces. Overall, an average lightweight fleece piece. Pick one up for a simple, no frills jacket.

My sixteen year old soccer playing son loved it! It was one of his favorite Christmas gifts.

We could have easily gotten away with a medium vs. A large. This fleece pullover is liberally cut. My son loves the color (chestnut) and it washes like a dream and dries in no time flat! Patagonia is pricey, but the quality is outstanding. You get what you pay for!

A very warm fleece pullover with great functionality to it. The fit is very old fashioned, and loose. Not form fitting at all, but it's to be expected. This is an old school piece from Patagonia and I would not expect them to change it, nor should they.
If you want a more fitted performance piece, do not get this.

This is a perfect warm up fleece. Very light and easy to stuff into your backpack for those chilly mornings on your way to class. I should have bought one sooner but I was settling for a less expensive fleece. Well, you get what you pay for. The 200 weight fleece is just warm enough as a base layer but without any wind cutting power be sure to have a shell with you on cold, windy days. Definitely a must have.

This pullover became an instant favorite with its front pouch style pockets. I liked it so much; I bought one for my brother. We are going to look awesome in this years Christmas photos!

This is a warm and fuzzy pullover that does the job. I experienced a little bit of pilling after a couple of washes, but it still performed well. It heats you up quick so if you're in a cool weather environment, it should handle it. The elasticized cuffs are great and help to keep the cold air out. PatagoniaCommunity.blogspot.com
