Love this!
Love to take this pull over on all my adventures! Got it about a year ago and still looks band new. Holds up great is a nice loose cozy fit.
I loved this fleece
- Familiarity:I've used it several times
- Fit:Runs large
- Size Bought: XS
I loved this fleece from Patagonia. I was very warm and cozy and the fleece, and it layers really well. It does shed a bit at first too.
However, Patagonia does not make small enough sizes for adults! Even an XS is HUGE on me. I had to send the women's XS size back only to reorder a girls L.
If your not on the bigger and taller spectrum of sizing, this will be way too big on you if your under 5'3" or even 5'4" and looking for an XS.
Want warmth? You got it.
I got this as a gift for a friend and she fell in love with this Synchilla. It's incredibly warm and the regular fit gives it a loose & comfy feeling. The colors truly standout, making it a fun piece to have in your closet!
What size did you purchase Jessica?
Hey Andrea, I got an XS.
Perfect Gift!

I got this jacket for my girl. She can't say enough good things about it. She wears it every day. It keeps her warm and cozy around the house and around the campfire. Great classic look as well!

I bought this item form my 11 yr-old daughter. You can't beat the quality and comfort of the product. It wears like a sweatshirt (which is fine). A sure staple in the sports wardrobe.
Last night synchilla saved my life!
- Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
- Fit:Runs large
Well, it wasn't quite last night but rather last September during a camping trip to Grant Teton National Park.
I have initially bought this product as an "emotional purchase" as its retro feel reminded me of the good old times. I loved the feel of the fabric (dense fleece that is still soft) and the fit (L) but I was almost ready to return it thinking that I am not going to wear it a lot as it looked too warm for the Pacific NW are where I live. I even had the return label ready...but decided on a whim to packed it for our road trip to Wyoming. It was just the beginning of September so we did not expect freezing temperature overnight but that's what we got for the first 2-3 nights, following a thunder storm on the first day there. I used the synchilla almost every day, from walking around camp to the morning hikes and even to wrap my feet inside the sleeping bag during one of the colder nights (I hate sleeping with thick socks)....and now wear it all the time. I like that is it a loose fit without being too bulky (at least not on me) and the dense material is made of is great, and the fact that is quite resistant to stains or odors is an added bonus. The only thing that is not so good for is wet weather, unless you can fit it under a shell...but not a big deal for me as I have other midlayers for that kind of weather.
I got the nickel/yellow color from last year's model...and love it.

There is a reason that everyone has and loves a Synchilla fleece. The fleece is light-weight and breathable, but is still durable and will hold up well for a long period of time. The colors and prints are awesome and the snap collar looks great on everyone. Since the cut on this fleece is not tapered for women it can seem a little boxy and big, however I have found that it fits pretty true to size. If you want a more flattering fit you can size down, and still have room for light layering underneath. This fleece is a closet staple of mine and I wear it all the time!
Classic

I bought this as a gift, but I also own one myself. I love wearing this at home on cold days. It's super soft and comfy.

I was hesitant because of the price but honestly this is probably one of the best purchases I've made in awhile. It's comparable to the northface pull over fleece when it comes to warmth. I really love that it's light weight, comfortable and form fitting. I did find that these run small, so for someone who typically wears a size small, I'd order the large so you can put stuff under it. I rock the print fleece, and another one of my favorite features is the button up collar, makes it perfect for different occasions!!!
Great gift

Got this as a gift and they seem to love the fit and style.
I could live in the Synchilla

If it was socially acceptable I would never take off this sweater. It's damn comfortable and the fleece is oh so soft. Yes I'm a guy, and I bought the women's version. I'm about 5'7, 130lbs and the women's medium is perfect. The Synchilla style is to fit loose and large, though the slightly smaller women's version is still better for me. The bagginess of the men's is just way too loose fitting. That being said, for women reading this, you still want to size down a full size at the least. It will shrink a bit as well.
Great all around fleece

I bought the black and light blue fleece and am in love. It does run a tad big, but for what it is, I'm okay with it. In fact, I may have slightly expected it. This thing is extremely warm and actually feels light-weight. It's a timeless piece that I expect to take on adventures for years to come. Try it out, you won't regret it.
Amazing!

This is a timeless mid-weight fleece for those cozy nights by the fireside, curled up with a hot cup of cocoa, or long walks on a brisk frosty evening, neath a perfectly paired winter jacket. A relaxed fit, that hits just above the hips, the Patagonia Synchilla Lightweight Snap-T Pullover is my go-to for any and all activity in need of fleece. And to top it off, what a beautiful array of colors to choose from, how could you go wrong?
Love it!

This pullover is super comfy and lightweight. Can be worn alone or layered. It is not a long fit, the bottom of it hits right at my hips but isn't too short.
Fratagonia for the win

Another gift for the sister- She thought this jacket was hyped up for no reason... But man was she wrong!! This thing is the real deal. It keeps her very warm, but without the bulkiness that comes along with other warm jackets, especially that of high pile fleece. So many cute colors so you really can't go wrong. Her only complaint is that it runs a little short.. definitely a hip cut style, but everything else fits true to size.
Cozy, warm, retro look!

I bought this for myself before heading to Idaho for winter break where the forcasted high temps were in the single digits each day. This fleece was great - I wore it around the house with jeans, skiing at Grand Targhee under a down jacket, cross country skiing under a shell. It is really versatile. It's definitely a baggier fit, so order one size small if you want a closer fit.

I have had friends who owned this and I loved theirs. I finally got one as a gift and I couldn't be happier. They are just the right amount of comfortable, cozy, and warm. I like the elastic around the sleeves and waist. The collar sits kinda funky when it is new, but after a few washes it sits better.

I love everything about this fleece! It's stylish, functional, comfortable, warm and from past experience with other Patagonia clothing items, durable. It does seem to fit a bit loose, but it's nothing drastic. I'm usually between a size small and medium and after reading reviews I opted for the small, which fits perfectly. I can easily layer over it with a down jacket and/or shell and it provides enough room to layer under it as well. My favorite feature is the elastic around the waist and wrists so you can wear it many different ways while still keeping the cold at bay. The collar sits fairly high when fully buttoned which keeps your neck warm too. Nice one, Patagonia!

I bought this as my first piece of Patagonia gear a few weeks ago, and have nothing but good things to say about it.
1. I love the elastic at the bottom and wrists. Keeps drafts out and makes it easier to pull up the sleeves when needed.
2. Warm, comfy, does its job.
3. Although it's a looser fit, I haven't had any trouble layering it under my rain coat or even my puffy.
One note, it's a fleece. Therefore it doesn't pack down to a small space. This isn't a criticism of the product, just a note for anyone who might be looking for compressible gear.
Happy Trails!
I am 5'4" and weigh 145lbs. I hear this runs large but I am also rather large chested. Should I order a medium or a large?
I am 5'9" and 155lbs and I purchased a size M. I am about 39" in the bust and the M fits me with a little bit of room.
I am 5'4", 150 lbs. Should I get a medium or a small?? I want it to be comfy and loose, but not huge!
I am 5'6 and weigh 160 lbs. I have a very long torso and I want this to fit loose and comfortable. Would you recommend a medium or large?
I'm 5'4 and 160 and the medium fit great when I tried it on. Not too tight not too loose.
I am 5'3, around 125 lbs and usually wear a size small in all of my clothes/jackets. I definitely want a comfortable, over sized fit, would a medium be too over sized though?
I would try a small initially since this is a slightly looser fitting piece and you might be swimming in the medium.
What is the center back length of a medium?
27 inches
If I wear a size large in North Face would I also take a size large in Patagonia?
Hey Ashley,
Looks like Patagonia measurements for a size Large are:
Chest 38.5 - 40in, Waist 30.5 - 32in, Hip 41 - 42.5in
And North Face measurements for Large are:
Chest 39-40in, Waist 32-33in, Hip 40-43in
Subtle differences there, but I think the Patagonia size Large will work for you!
I typically wear a medium in North Face, but found this to run really large. The medium was swimming on me. I'd for sure size down.

I'm 5'0", 115, with a short torso. XS fits fine for me. Could just be a proportions thing.
