  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit:True to size

Ordered this in the Navy/Diamond pattern in a size 4...I wear anything from a 2 to a 6...For reference I am 5'6 , 130lbs, 32 A, athletic build. I like the style, color and pattern of this dress but the fabric is rather blah. It's a bit rough and stiff. It's also fairly thin and a bit see through, even in the dark navy. This dress also has side slant pockets at the seams, which I really would have rather not had. Since the fabric is a bit stiff, they don't always lay correctly...A nicer fabric would have made this dress a 5 star...

casual or dressy

I have the ginger and it is a little see-through it is so comfortable and very cute. I have worn it casual to work and with boots and a sweater to work. I did add a hook and eye to the top of the zipper because I didn't want to have to worry about it unzipping.

Go-to "summertime" dress

I bought this in mission olive on clearance from REI (~$54) and I wore it 3 times in one week!....different evening activities w/ different groups. It's comfortable and the material feels nice on my skin, the only issue and I knew this would be a problem when I bought it, is that after sitting for an hour or so it looks terribly wrinkly when I stand up. The minute I sit down in my car to go someplace I know that it's starting to wrinkle. That being said, still great for more casual summer gatherings. I just washed it and laid it out to dry and it cleaned up well and I won't have to iron it prior to my first wearing--I'm not that particular about wrinkles, but the big ones that come from sitting do bother me so I iron it after I wear it and wear it again once or twice before washing. As far as the fit, it's a bit tight through the rib cage on me and loose below that, the skirt has a slight, girly flare to it. My favorite part is the bust with the ruching detail and the seams in general.

This dress is really cute but the material is a bit thin

Got this for my girlfriend and while it was super cute, the pickled ginger color was a bit on the transparent side, especially when back lit. If you're not modest about what colors you've got on underneath or are just wanting a fun lightweight dress to go to/from the beach then it'd be great. If you're a little self conscious or looking for something to wear to a sunny farmers market, I'd check into something just a little heavier
