Here's what others have to say...

Breathable

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

These are a great pair of boxer briefs, thin and breathable, perfect for running or every day use. I'm 5'6' 145 and the smalls fit snuggly without being to constrictive. Wish I could fill my wardrobe with these and the Patagonia boxers.

Super!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

New favorite underwear! Bought them for travel/backpacking, but after wearing them.. i think i'll replace my everyday pairs!

Responded on

I recently aquired a couple of the patterned pairs, and the material is a bit different than the plain. They have much less stretch.. which makes them less comfortable (almost tooo tight). Just FYI.

Not what I thought..

I've owned Patagonia Silkweight Boxers for years and they are by far and away my favorite, but these are "briefs" meaning they have the same pattern, but are tight fitting. Not quite what I was hoping for, and as a matter of pride, I'm not going to return underwear. ;)

Run small

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small

I love the silkweight boxers, so I figured I'd give these a try. I found a medium to be super tight--like, sausage casing tight (pun intended)--I'm 6'0, 160lbs, 32" waist, so I figured a medium would be plenty roomy, which was not the case. That said, they do stretch, which helps. I still wear them, but overall, I'll stick with the boxers from here on out.

The best synthetic pair I've come across

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I am partial to wool boxer briefs. All this talk of "wicking" has never seemed to be a reality for me. After a while, synthetics seem to feel clammy around the inner thigh and my junk. Furthermore, synthetics are torture on dry winter hands (nails on a chalkboard kind of thing). So, I prefer wool boxer briefs (few make them, and they are expensive). But wool can get warm.......so, in summer I prefer superfine cotton (which is also expensive). All that said, this is literally an excellent pair of synthetic boxer briefs. I like the feel (like silk) and the fit is so good that I might simply keep them in the rotation. I am here reviewing them because I want to stock up.

Durable.

Expensive but will last for a long time

Kiss Your Swass Goodbye!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs small

I trust these with keeping me dry in the midst of everything from skiing, running, to bumming around the office. These have single handedly ruined 'normal' underwear for me forever.

Sweet patterns!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

My husband loves these! And i do too cause the patterns are hilarious and awesome.

Silk that stretches

I don't know how they did it, but these underwear are smooth as silk AND stretchy like spandex. They don't bunch up and breathe well. Worth the extra $.

Like secretly being part of Riverdance

Do you remember Riverdance? Michael Flately with his tights on and his puffy shirt.. Oh my... These man panties make you feel like you are part of the action. You may look absolutely normal on the outside with your clothes on but underneath you'll have the feeling of being a Celtic warrior princess. It is quite the feeling.
I never understood how those dancers could last so long tapping and jigging away like they did until I slid a pair of these on. There I was jigging and tapping my way throughout the house to the amazement and shear wonder of those viewing the spectacle. When I finally stopped and had the peace of mind to put the rest of my clothes on I was amazed at what I would find... They kept my balls dry. Any other man panty I own wouldn't have done that. So I have to say these are impressive.
Do you know the leading cause of male fumunder cheese production? That's right.. Sweaty nut sacks. No one enjoys being in a tent with someone with ripe nuts.. But they do enjoy a little entertainment. So Riverdance your way to a dry sack and be the talk of your next outing.

This review made me buy these man panties. I didn't even know about man panties until this review. Well done. Greg for entertainer of the year.

Comfy

Fits well, supports the boys. I'm usually leery of this type of material because it makes me sweat...but these things breathe like a champ--whether snowboarding, being stuck in hour+ long commutes over Teton Pass or unloading boxes at work.

Belongs in Museum of Modern Undie Art

I've worn these every day for the last 15+ years (well, not the same pair, and I have washed them...), so I can legitimately say I've "put them through the wringer." If you are wondering why I am typing so smoothly right now, it is because of my Silk Weight Patagonia briefs. They are that good.

Butt seriously, 2-3 star reviews? I love those things and would much rather get a new pair or two every year instead of a paisley tie. They are comfy and loose fitting in the right places, while being snug around your hips so they don't fall down.

A friend of mine claims he can wear them for a week at a time and they don't stink. I don't know if I'd go that far, but they are a very nice set of boxers. I'm going with a 5 out of 5 on these.

Not bad.... but not great

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Along with the previous reviewer, I feel that these are contricting(and I'm skinny).
It feels like they didn't cut it to accommodate for any leg movement. Raise your leg too high, and it starts to constrict.

Aside from that, they do wick moisture very well. I also used them for swimming trunks recently, and they dried in a snap.
It's not too bad... but I wouldn't buy any more of these

Meh....

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Streamlined review here.....
Fit: true to size (always wear a Medium, and the M in these fit fine)
Material: moisture wicking for sure, but NOT as stretchy as I'd wanted/hoped for....a bit constrictive for me, and this is where "3 stars" comes from.
Overall: for the price, I was hoping for more...the overall fit of 'em and the lack of elasticity just make these adequate in my opinion.....go for Ex-Officio instead.
