Scrambler Shorts - Men's

Go light without sacrificing durability. Patagonia made the Men's Scrambler Shorts for hiking through heavy brush on an approach and climbing on abrasive rock. Patagonia's stretch-woven nylon and GI crotch give you unlimited mobility. The offset belt buckles and two-way zip fly make life in a harness comfortable. When the climbing's done, the Patagonia Scrambler Short's relaxed fit and long inseam look good at camp too.

Bottom Line: Patagonia made their lightweight Scrambler climbing shorts to handle the abuses of climbing and hiking.

There Grrreat!

I'm a big believer in "you get what you pay for", and these shorts are worth it. I was surprised at how well they rappel water, a pretty rugged short, and they are very comfortable. I generally like my shorts a bit loose so I got them a little bigger than what I "should" wear, and they are perfect, even under a harness. I don't mind so much about the price... With a company like Patagonia, you know that you're paying for more than just a name (quality, customer care, environmentally friendly, etc). I guess my only real complaint is that they don't have more pockets, but that might be a good thing.

Great shorts!

These things ooze quality. The fabric is just slightly stretchy and feels quite unique. They repel water a bit, which is a nice bonus. The fit is true to size. They're a little snug if you're used to baggy cargo shorts, but once you get used to it, you'll love them. I liked them so much, I ordered another pair!

Pretty good shorts, but a little overpriced

The Patagonia Scrambler Shorts are comfortable and repel water well. The zippered back pockets save you from losing your wallet. They are a little expensive though, and the styling isn't spectacular. If they were a little cheaper, I would give them a 4.
