Puffy pants—bet you wish you had some, too.
When you're about to head out to the park for a playdate, bundle your little one into her Patagonia Infant Girls' Reversible Puffball Pants so she'll be toasty and warm. The Thermogreen synthetic insulation helps keep her legs cozy, spandex binding at the cuffs seals out chilly air, and a DWR treatment helps shed light flurries. When you're ready for a design change, just flip these inside-out for a fresh look.

- Q & A
I bought these as a gift for my niece. She's 16 months old and wearing 12-18 month in most items, the fit was perfect. These will surely protect her in the NYC winters.
The size is good, I got 6 months but she they are a little bigger than a normal 6 month size so she will be able to wear them for a while and with clothing underneath. I love the pattern, too. I just don't know how warm they will be in the severe cold. They look good though!
Patagonia Reversible Puff-Ball Pant - Infant Girls'
I got these for ski touring (very mellow touring) with my daughter in the baby bjorn and so far she likes wearing them although we haven't been out on a super cold day. They seem to be pretty windproof and the synthetic insulation is a strong positive given that it will maintain warmth when wet and there's always a good chance of these getting wet either from forces of nature of forces of my little girl.
Like what the other reviewer said, this is very lightweight, not bulky and keeps warm. It fits well too as elastic at waist is pretty stretchy. Although this feature is not important to me, I thought it was cool that this pant was reversible. However, I decided to return it as my daughter was happy enough with her fleece pants and didn't seem too bothered by the cold, so she ended up not wearing it at all.
Love Patagonia Puffball!
This is my second pair of the infant puffball pants - have the jacket and pants and LOVE them both. They are warm yet soft and lightweight and for living in the foothills of Colorado, my son wears them about 9 months out of the year. Great for layering over his normal indoor wear to go play outside - without overheating him with long underwear on the warmer winter days. Also really nice for blocking the wind.
