These waterproof breathable pants weigh 7.5 ounces and compress easily to take up very little room in your pack. I am 5'5" and 133lbs and I got the small size but they are too short. They fit OK around the legs and behind, but I am returning for a medium for more length and a bit more room.

I have owned these rain pants for nearly 2 years. They have been fantastic. The fabric is quite durable, and does a great job at keeping the rain out. They are nice and compact when storing them in a backpack too! My only complaint is that if you are tall, you will find them short, and with the elastic at the bottom of the legs - the rain runs off my pants and down into my shoes! I am 5'7 and have a size medium, I wouldn't want to be any taller.

These rain pants do their job: they keep you snug and dry. If they won't win any awards for style, but that’s OK—they do the job they were made to do (which is more than I can say for the OR pants they replaced).

I used the Patagonia rain pants (along with the jacket I purchased 2 years ago) on a recent 8-day trip traveling over 250 miles on the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon. Little did I realize we were rafting during monsoon season! The suit was great, warm/cool as I needed—I even slept it in one night.
