Patagonia R3 Hi-Loft Hooded Fleece Jacket - Women's - 2010 BCS

This jacjet has been pretty usefeul on camping trips. It feels warm from the moment you place it on and the hood keeps the head toasty.

Purchased one of these for my husband for his birthday, and liked it so much I ended up getting it for myself. It's lightweight, warm, soft and fits like a glove. Plus I adore the purple color! Only disappointing thing is it does leave a little bit of lint, particularly on my car seat belt and whatever shirt I'm wearing underneath it. Other than that, it's a perfect insulating layer and I plan to wear it at every cool weather opportunity possible.

I received my jacket and fell in love, I can shovel snow in this jacket and a t-shirt and still stay nice and toasty!!! The warmest fleece I have ever owned. However, as love can exist, it can also fade. After wearing my jacket everyday for a month, I went to wash it and realized there were two holes located at the seam! Eek! I returned the jacket to get a new one, and well, I am concerned that I will have the same problem. Hold your jacket up to the a bright light and you will see what it is that I see. I think it will eventually develop holes at the seam again, argghhh....I will continue to wear this jacket until I notice any holes, I DO LOVE IT!!!!! Still, purchase with caution, it may be defective!

I got this after having a 2007 R3 fleece in brown. The first fleece I got was a small and I hated the arms because they were super baggy. I wanted something that was a little more slim fitting.(I am 5'3" and 110 lbs) I got this jacket and really like the feel of the fleece and the hood. It is slightly more slim fitting but not fitted. It fits like a sweatshirt and I would have liked a tighter fit. It is better than my first edition brown fleece, but not my ultimate favorite jacket (warning, I am a jacket snob!!)

Love this Patagonia ... long enough to cover the rump and does not have tight elastic in the sleeves like most North Faces do. Only thing, it's not windproof - contrary to what the gear expert tod me.
