Description

A "jack"et of all trades for all of your endeavors, on and off the mountain.

The Patagonia Women's R2 Fleece Jacket seems to know what you need, when you need it. When you're working hard and getting hot under the collar, R2 fabric lets fresh air in to keep you comfortable. When you're waiting your turn or savoring the summit, R2 fabric provides warmth and offers insulation under a windproof shell. When the sun is out and the winds are calm, stuff this jacket deep within your pack without missing any space.

  • Polartec Thermal Pro body packs down into nothing and offers warmth, breathability, stretch, and fast drying times
  • Polartec Power Dry high/low grid on side panels, underarms, and lower torso offers a more refined fit, better shape retention, and abrasion resistance for when you are up and close and personal with the side of a mountain
  • Slim fit lets this piece stand alone or be worn as a base-layer without unnecessary bulk and puff
  • Thumbholes help keep the sleeves in place when you're reaching for the sky
  • 2 high hand pockets are harness and pack compatible, so you can actually use your jacket pockets while scaling a wall or trekking to camp or carrying your two-year-old on your back
  • 1 zippered chest pocket provides a safe place for IDs, cash or credit cards, and perhaps one last energy gel to get you to the top
  • 2 internal drop-in mesh pockets are perfect hiding places for energy gels, mini candy bars, or your cell phone

unhappy

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small

For years I loved Patagonia. Lately I have returned 3 now going to be 4 things I purchased. I don't want to give up on this brand but everything I have bought just seems cheaply made. I always find Patagonia always run small so I sized up and it did fit fine. The blue is def. cookie monster blue for sure like Cory said but I agree with other reviewer. It isn't worth the money it cost.

Cookie Monster

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I love this fleece, I am wearing it as I type. It is warm and soft like a fleece should be, and hugs curves nicely. I am a messy kid, so I love that this jacket is pretty stain resistant. I spilled red wine on it a few weeks ago and it came right out with a wet rag, no stain to be found and I haven't even washed it yet. It packs up tiny and it's super light. I purchased the "Curacao" blue which is a pretty inaccurate name. It's much more of a "Cookie Monster" blue for sure. Pictures to follow.

super thin- not worth the money.

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small

I was looking for something comparable to a North Face fleece, and because of all the good reviews, I ordered this "jacket" that is more like a thin sweatshirt. Needless to say, I already sent it back, it's not worth the money!

zipper issues at first, but love <3

had to exchange my first order of this fleece due to the zipper not working. It zipped up the first 3 times I put it on, the 4th I could not get it to zip up. The exchange zips with no issues. Really blocks the wind on a fall day. so soft of fabric, feminine fit, and I get non-stop compliments on the blue butterfly color. love it <3 I'm 5' 3" 120 lbs. and the small fits just right :-)

The best...

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This fleece is awesome! It is incredibly soft and cozy with an attractive fit. The weight makes it a great fleece for backpacking trips; you barely notice it is there. Like any fleece jacket, it doesn't do much for wind protection, but works great as a layer. The one complaint I have is the short arms. I am 5ft 8in with very long arms and the ones on this fleece are a little bit too short. That could just be a gangly person problem though. Overall, the medium fits well. I couldn't be happier with this fleece!

Soooo soft!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large

I <3 this fleece! It's the softest piece of clothing I own. It's amazing! It's not super warm, but makes a great fall jacket and is a great layering piece. I would say, if you are between sizes, go down. I'm 5"5', 105 lbs, 30x25x36 and an XS fits perfectly.
