I', 5'10" 165# & got a large. Fits loose. Will be great for lake, pool or casual. Would buy another.

I purchased this to wear while kayaking and on the water. So far it's served as great sun protection. I've also worn it as insulation layer over a tee and under a rain jacket when the temperature dropped after a rain. So far odor hasn't been an issue like it can be with some polyester garments.

Bought this in white for warm alpine hikes to ward off the sun and skeeters (who tend to love dark colors). Even in white, it's just too thick and hot. Would be ok under cooler conditions, but then so would just about any shirt, right? As far as the odor issue, it got stinkier than most other shirts I own but the smell did wash out. Bottom line, if you're looking for a warm weather sun shirt for aerobic activities, keep looking.

I got this shirt for my dad for his birthday to wear sailing. It has UPF 25 protection, and looks nice and is quite soft. The polyester jersey has a bit of a cotton feel to it. I'd say the sizing is typical men's more technical sizing (versus their more casual fit).
