The Patagonia Kids' Poco Mucho 20L Backpack is a big ol' pack (Patagonia's largest for kids) for a wee lil' person. The 420D nylon oxford body fabric and 840D ballistics nylon on the base can take a beating when your kid throws it around, and the Deluge DWR finish will repel light rain to protect homework stored in the large basic main compartment and calculators and such stowed in the front organizer pocket. Your kid can bring two water bottles in the stretch-mesh pocket and just about anything else they'd want (Teddy bear and blanket on the first day of school) in the generous 20 liters of storage. If biking to school is an option, they'll stay seen at dawn with the Poco Mucho's reflective trim and a light attached to the designated bike light loop.
