    Great Pants!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: 34 Short

These pants are awesome. If you are looking for a comfortable, straight fit jean, that isn't super skinny, these are the ticket. I just bought my second pair in grey and they are awesome. I love the fact that they have a bit of elastic stretch to them. After you try a pant that has stretch it is impossible to go back. I wear these to work primarily, but if I decide to go climbing or go on a walk with the dog afterward they allow for plenty of movement so there is no need to change. I did find that they run a little small in the waist; I am normally a solid 32 , but I bought these in a 34.

    Bitchin

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: 32 / Short

I just grabbed a pair of these since I liked my Patagonia All Wear pants so much. These have the perfect amount of stretch, and are very well made. I typically wear a 30 / 30 in other brands, but went with the 32 / short in these and they fit perfectly.

    Strange fit

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Size Bought: 33/32

I wanted to love these pants, but found that the fit was not right for me. I'm not oddly shaped, and have a pretty standard inseam, but found that these pants were really long from the waist to the top of the thigh.

This left me with the option to wear than way up above my waistline (Erkel style), or return. Unfortunately I had to return them.

Other than the less than perfect fit in the crotch, the legs fit well (a bit slim) and the stretch fabric on these pants is awesome. I wish they fit me, because they are killer jeans!

    Rad Jeans

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 30/Short

I purchased a 30/Short, which is my usual pant size, and they actually fit a bit longer than I had expected (more like a 31 or 32 length); The waist size is spot on.

Fit aside, these jeans are extremely comfortable, have a great amount of stretch, and the forge grey color has a very subtle blue tint, which I really like.

    Runs Small

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: 34

I typically wear a 32, I purchased a 32 and they were a little tight and a little short. I sized up to a 34 and they fit great. Super comfortable and they break in nicely!

    Size Up

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: 34

The Patagonia Performance Straight Fit Denim Pants have a solid stretch to them and fit really well (but you must size up 1 size). I rolled up the legs slightly which is not a concern for me. Overall I am pleased with them.

    Great but size up!

    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: 34/reg

These are great and fit really nice. I sized up from my usual 33 because when I sat down I could feel the waist band pressing into me. Standing they were fine. Go figure. For comparison I also own the straight fit in 33 and they are bigger waist wise when you hold them against each other.

    Excellent pair of pants!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 32

This was my first pair of Patagonia pants and they are way more comfortable and fit way better than I ever could have expected. They are a bit long but that's easily fixed by rolling up the pant cuff a bit.

    Highly recommend!

    So nice!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: 33X32

Very similar to my Levi 514 but with way more mobility and comfort. I am a 32 in most brands, 31 in Lucky, and a medium in everything else. I got the 33X32 in these and am very happy with the fit. I have athletic quads that struggle in skinny jeans and these offer nice stretch that allows total freedom.

    Best Performance /EDC Jean Available

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: 36/32

The Patagonia Performance jeans are amazing. Perfect fit. Great style, comfort and materials blend is next to perfection. I wear them as an every day pant in the city and they are tough enough to get you by on the rocks, out on the ranch or a weekend camping. These are my new go to Jeans.

Hopefully Patagucci releases additional washes so I can buy more.

    Length sizing info

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs small

I got the 32 waist in short and regular, as I couldn't tell the actual length. For my waist size the regular was length 32 and the short was length 30.

    Most comfortable jeans I own

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 34x32

These jeans are great. Great looking jeans with added comfort and flexibility. Only downside is that I usually wear a size 32 waist, but had to opt for size 34 due to the pant legs being snug on my beefy quads.

    Great fitting pants!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 34X32

This is my first pair of Patagonia pants in over 20 years. To be honest I really never liked the fit of their pants, so I just stopped buying them. This new, straight fit denim pant has totally changed my mind. The fit is great, nice finish and feel. Overall I am pretty stoked on them.

    A New Favorite

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 31x32"

I've had these jeans for several weeks now and have been blown away with the fit and initial durability of these jeans. I've been a long time wearer of Levi's but have to say I'm more impressed with the fit and stretch/mobility of these jeans. With the lack of elastane/spandex in the fabric, the jeans sit more rigid than the comparable Commuter's from Levi's and initially seem more durable, all while maintaining an incredible stretch for activities like hiking or biking around town.

    Big fan of these jeans

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: 34 Regular

I went with the "performance" fabric vs. the traditional denim as they have a slightly stretchier fit which is nice especially when you go for the tighter fitting straight cut. The straight cut is definitely on the skinnier side so if you're in the gym busting out the leg press all day long, your thighs may have some troubles squeezing into these. Fortunately I sit at a desk most of the day now and my weekend warrior legs can stylishly live in them without any discomfort.

Seriously though, best jeans I now own and for reference I would say they are a similar quality and fit to "Joe's" jeans. Impressive first go for Patagonia given they are new to the denim scene.

Patagonia nailed it with these jeans

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 34x32

I've had the Patagonia Performance Fit jeans for a little over a month now and have to say that they're even better than I expected. The straight fit is great, especially combined with how well these jeans stretch. They have a good look to them that's well-suited for almost any occasion - I've been wearing them more than any of my other pants since I got them. Detailed photos to come

    Better than Levis

    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: 31/30

    Patagonia finally does denim right.
Size: Think levis 511. Order the same size and these are fairly close, a hair tighter in the waist, seat and thigh. Waist sits at the same height as a 511 but rise seems shorter so no baggie crotch (a great thing). Thus, 30" Inseam is about 1/2" shorter than the 511s. Perfect for me. Great mechanical stretch. I wear these fairly slim but sitting down is very comfortable in the office.

Yet to wash these, not sure how much they'll fade. Color is a great blue indigo, not black or near black as many.

Fabric is perfect - on the lighter side of denim so instantly comfortable but rugged enough.

Great jeans and nice to have an eco option compared to the standard denim industry. You have to try em on obviously but worth ordering and worth the try.

Much skinnier than expected; good style

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: 30/Reg

I'm a 30/32 in most Patagonia pants, but these are far too tight around the waist to be comfortable. Skinniest jeans I have ever tried on that still felt comfortable through the legs, but they show everything and fit almost like leggings.

Colors is great. Style is great. If you're into skinny jeans, these are a huge win--still plenty of flexibility because of the fabric. I may try a size up, but expected much more room in a "regular fit" jean.

    Unanswered Question

    Will these jeans shrink?

Usually wear a 30 so not sure if I should size up as I like to just throw my jeans in the dryer after washing.

What the size of inseam for the 34/reg?
