After running in this skirt, you may not go back to shorts.

Who says you can't run in a skirt? In the Patagonia Women's Nine Trails Skirt, you may be swayed to never go back to shorts. This stretchy active skirt features a moisture-wicking, quick-drying outer fabric with four-way stretch for free movement, and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish that keeps the skirt from getting soaked if a light rain starts falling. The liner underneath is also made of a stretchy polyester and spandex fabric blend, and features a permanent antimicrobial treatment that controls odors. Customize a perfect, stay-put fit by adjusting the drawcord at the waist, and carry small essentials along with you on your runs in three convenient pockets.

  • Recycled polyester and spandex with 4-way stretch and DWR finish
  • Polyester and spandex knit liner with Polygiene permanent odor control
  • Regular fit
  • Drawcord-adjustable, flat waistband
  • Back envelope pocket and two drop-in hip pockets

Here's what others have to say...

Wish I had one for everyday

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size
  • Height: 5'1"
    Weight: 115 lbs

Love this skirt! Wish there were more colors and I'd have them all. Some reviews say it runs small but I think it fits great. I'm about 5'1" 115 lbs, athletic build, making the (medium) skirt hit upper mid though, attractive, but not over exposed.

Super cute but not super functional

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:Runs small

I got this skirt in Tailored Grey and it looks exactly as pictured. I am 5'4, 115 and got the small (there was no way I could get the XS on). I like that it is quite short, because it doesn't make my legs look shorter than they are. The back pocket is good for credit cards. My only complaint is that the undershorts do ride up a bit. It's on the borderline of uncomfortable, but I was able to get used to it after some time.

Sizing a little off

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:Runs small

I really like this skirt, but the small is a little tight in the hips and the medium way too big. I typically wear a 27 or 4 in jeans and always wear in small in skirts/shorts/etc. Other than fit, it's a really nice skort.

  • Fit:True to size

Looks good, feels good, performs good. Turns your legs from burly to girly. Has a tendency to stop traffic.

Great for hiking.

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

This skirt is cute and great quality (it's Patagonia of course), but it hasn't been my favorite for running. I feel like the shorts underneath ride up and aren't the most comfortable after a few miles. If you're looking for something just for hiking, it's really comfortable and not as wedgie-prone at a slower pace.

Perfect Summer Hiking Skirt

  • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it
  • Fit:Runs large

Very cute skirt with a comfortable spandex skort liner, but a tad shorter than I personally prefer. This item would be perfect for anyone who loves stretchy sport type skirts and doesn?t mind a slightly shorter style (11 inch outseam). If it had one more inch in length, it would have been a keeper. I ordered the blue and I found the color to appear very true to the color as seen on the site. Size wise, I found that I fell between sizes. The small would have probably been the better selection as the Medium was a bit loose. I have a 28? waist, typically wear a 4/6, 5?8 in height, and 135 lbs.
