Cram all your gear in the Patagonia MLC Carry On Bag and quit worrying about some seedy baggage handler rifling through your stuff. The MLC (Maximum Legal Carry-on) holds three to five days of clothes and essentials and still meets the strictest of airline carry-on restrictions. A large main compartment and secondary zippered compartment swallow your gear, and a floating divider separates your clean clothes from your shoes and mangy laundry. An outside zippered pocket organizes your passport, documents and cell phone. I fly a lot and am constantly dumb-founded at the amount of STUFF people carry with them on trips. Why?!? Leave your wheeled chest at home and streamline your packing using a simple carry-on. Travel will be easier and you will be happier because of it. Anyway, off my soapbox...The MLC is my favorite. Carries nicely and has well designed organization features. Perfect for weekend trips or any Jet-Set type adventure.

I have used the old style for about a year, several trips to far away places, and, this is the best bag I have. That is if you pack light. When full and with a laptop, it does get a little heavy with the single strap. However, I do love to travel light and this bag has so many little pockets, it works great.
