This bag could only be better if it had another zipper pocket on the inside. Pocket count as built: zipper in flap, zipper interior to bag, double drop-in on front under flap (velcro divider), exterior cell-phone/world's tiniest umbrella/tiny cupholder pocket on RH side as you look at the flap face.
This is my new business mini-briefcase. It fits a few notebooks and my net book (padding in the MiniMass seems thin for netbook, so I got an extra sleeve). It's almost the perfect amount of room- I would love to have just one more pocket, then it would be perfect!

Have had this bag for a week and I find myself inventing reason to use it. Fits my 12" netbook in neoprene sleeve perfectly and still has room for other essentials. It's narrower than I am so it doesn't get hung up on corners or hit other people while I'm out and about. It holds more than you'd think and will work as an overnight bag or maybe even for minimalist weekend trip. Lives up to Patagonia's quality craftsmanship. Highly recommended.
FYI...Patagonia is redesigning this bag and IMHO the new version looks more like a purse than a messenger bag.
